This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro coupe is powered by a 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine and finished in Cobalt Blue. Equipment includes a four-speed PerformaBuilt 4L60E automatic transmission, a Richmond limited-slip differential, 18″ Budnik wheels, RS-style hideaway headlights, an SS-style hood, front and rear spoilers, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, QA1 front coilovers, rear mini tubs, power steering, air conditioning, a Budnik steering wheel, digital gauges, LED interior lighting, and a custom audio system.
Body modifications include shaved badges and drip rails, smoothed seams, and an integrated rear decklid spoiler. The seller calls the paint color Deep Cobalt Blue, and the car is equipped with a billet aluminum RS-style grille, electric RS-style hideaway headlights, an SS-style hood, and safety glass windows. There is cracked paint on the trunk lid, and close-up photos of additional flaws can be found in the gallery.
The 18″ Budnik billet wheels measure 8″ and 10″ wide and are mounted with 245/40 and 295/35 rear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The car is equipped with Detroit Speed rear mini tubs, QA1 front coilovers, Detroit Speed rear drop leafs, tubular front control arms, IROC-Z quick-ratio power steering, and four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin has been fitted with SCAT Procar bucket seats, Vintage Air climate control, heat and sound insulation, a fiberglass headliner, a custom carbon-look fiberglass center console, billet window and door handles, a Shiftworks shifter, USB ports, a stainless steel Flaming River steering column, and a Budnik billet steering wheel. The rear seat was deleted and replaced with a custom speaker enclosure and two Polk Audio subwoofers. The rest of the audio system includes Alpine amplifiers, speakers in the front kick panels, and an Alpine digital audio player.
Aftermarket digital gauges are installed in a carbon-fiber surround. The speedometer/odometer is the second unit installed since the build was completed and the odometer indicates approximately 1,050 miles. The seller notes that the car has been driven approximately 4k miles since the build was completed.
The 6.2-liter LS3 “Hot Cammed” crate engine was installed in 2014 along with a Painless wiring harness, an aluminum radiator, an electric radiator fan, a stainless-steel Rock Valley fuel tank, an in-tank fuel pump, ceramic coated headers, a custom air intake, and a 3″ dual exhaust system with MagnaFlow mufflers. The seller states that the engine produced approximately 500 horsepower.
The Performabuilt 4L60E automatic transmission is controlled by an EZ-TCU system that allows for both auto and manual shift mode with the center console-mounted toggle switch, and it is further equipped with a 9.5″ FTI Performance Pro Series torque converter. The 12-bolt rear end has been fitted with a Richmond limited-slip differential with 3.42 gears.
